I am the mother of two very busy daughters. Located in the beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine, Ontario, and proudly serving Bruce, Grey and Huron Counties, I have a deep love and appreciation for preserving memories of you and your loved ones.

I live in the beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine, Ontario …All be it beautiful, I do love it a little bit more in those warm summer months. Those breathtaking Lake Huron sunsets will forever bring me joy. But don’t get me wrong, you will never see me pass up the chance to photograph in a snow flurry!

I am a proud 2x accredited member of the Professional Photographers Of Canada with accreditations in both botanical photography as well as children’s study. I am also a member of the Kincardine Chamber Of Commerce, and a published and award-winning photographer. Classically trained with a Digital Photography and Imaging restoration degree from Georgian College, Barrie.

I come with 20+ years of experience in Photoshop, restoration services, as well as family, children and portrait photography.

I am an accredited member of the Professional Photographers of Canada!

What does that mean?

“Accreditation is the degree of elevation above the general membership level and is achieved by submitting samples of the applicant’s photography in a chosen category. Accreditation demonstrates that the photographer has proven professional ability to the Board of Examiners of the Professional Photographers of Canada. In assessing Accreditation submissions, the judges will consider the following criteria: Vision, Impact, Composition, and Technical merit.”

Five very accomplished photographers review ten portfolio images, that have to be taken at 10 different sessions, with 10 different poses, or subject matters. Along with special implications. For example my Child Study Accreditation requires the photographer to illustrate the character and inner spirit of a child and should make use of a variety of environments relating to the child. Each image is judged individually – they have to be a ‘cut above’ . Then these judges – make their decision if they would recommend the work for professional consumption based on the overall judging. If certain images, lack one of the above criteria and should not pass the process and the artist will have to try again.

At this time I am accredited in Botanical as well as Children’s Study with the PPOC.

“Meghan was fantastic from start to finish! she picked the location (Station Beach) and it turned out to be a perfect sunset evening. Our 2 year old son is busy, very busy, so we were less than hopeful we would get many good pictures….However, these pictures turned out to be my new favorite family photos. Meghan’s talent showed in her ability to capture our family perfectly when we thought it was not possible. Highly recommend Meghan for your family photos, especially with crazy little ones!”
